I love food, science, photography and creating new recipes and I strongly believe in low carb life and regular exercise. As a science geek, I base my views on sound research and have firsthand experience of what it means to follow a low-carb diet. Both are reflected on my blog, in my apps and in my cookbooks.
I currently live in the UK. I have a degree in Economics and have worked in auditing, but have always been passionate about nutrition and healthy living.
I changed the way I ate in 2011 when I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s disease, an autoimmune disease that affects the thyroid. I had no energy and was finding it increasingly difficult to maintain a healthy weight.
It was then that I decided to quit sugar, grains, and processed foods and start following a low-carb, whole-food approach to food.
